To make this simple for you, you can just patch the whole with another piece of metal, preferably the same type of metal. You are going to need: roofing cement, a caulking gun, a spatula and a scrape of a metal that you can use to patch your hole.
First, make sure the surface is clean and try. Then apply a liberal amount of roofing cement around the hole with the caulking gun. Then spread the cement a few inches beyond the hole on all sides. Now get a metal patch and firmly press it do
2. Fixing leaky Joints
Over time, the joints between lengths of gutter will start to brake. This is caused from the water, sun and overtime use. Even if they are seamless gutters they are not immune to drips. All types of gutters can be fixed and the repair is pretty much the same.
3. Saggy Gutters
There is different types of ways to repair a saggy gutter. Most gutters are fixed in place with considerably large spikes that pass through a tubular sleeve. When spikes break, the gutters will beging to sag. If you don’t fix it it will eventually break completely and fall.To repair a sagging gutter, you have to replace the broken spikes with something that won’t withdraw easily. For that, you can use 7-inch-long screws specifically to fix broken gutters. They will cost you about a dollar a piece.
